Meet Blake Underwood!
Blake recently joined our team as an Assistant Project Manager. Underwood is a 2019 graduate from Liberty University where he studied Project Management. He has always been interested in construction as it is the main profession among his family members, and he has spent most of his life working on construction sites. When it came time for him to choose his own career, construction was an obvious choice. “It feels almost as though I am carrying on my family tradition” Underwood shared.
As an Assistant Project Manager Blake will be responsible for assisting in the development of budgets and estimates, value-added engineering, CPM scheduling, project phasing/sequencing, conducting job meetings, contract bidding, and daily construction administration.
“I am most looking forward to being able to oversee all aspects of the project from breaking ground to closeout of the project. It will also be rewarding years down the road seeing a previous project and feeling proud to have been involved with its construction” stated Underwood.
